The first 18 miles from home, Falmouth (well, Penryn), to Porthallow on the Lizard Penninsula. Starting across Falmouth Bay to the Helford Estuary, this is a landscape I already know intimately. Next down the posh end of the Lizard to Porthallow and camping at St Keverne. From here I can see Falmouth and St Anthony Head lighthouse. St Keverne reminds me of my grandad; he would have loved it here. It is a spring tide.
